MONOPOLY (The Game of Choice for Our Economy)

As a child I loved to play Monopoly. My Favorite role was to be the Banker. I love being in charge, and it was the easiest way to CHEAT. Yes I am going to come out and say that I used to Cheat at Monopoly. Aaron and Angela will never play that game with me again. So for who knows how long AIG and other banks have played monopoly during work and with real money. Now our Government is buying Wall St., AKA Boardwalk and Park Place. AIG pays retention bonus' to 73 employees and this amounts to about 163 Million Dollars. Less than 1% of the Bailout money they have received. I think that congress is jealous of AIG big wigs getting bonus and that is why Congress is mad. Let it be known that the Bailout money was given with no limitations on how the money could be used. I don't think it is worth all the attention this story has received. Personally a company who is going through the financial struggle they should be cutting back on bonus'. Intermountain cut our Christmas Bonus and our 401k match last year. It hurt my pocket book but it was better than layoffs. Congress feels cheated and so now they have to find a way to get the 163 Million back. Well how does Government make money. Taxes, so no Congress wants to tax these 73 people up to 95% of their bonus money. Well now that Congress is able to Tax who they and how much they want, what will keep them from doing it to us. I am so happy that the Democrats have control of the House and Senate. If Nancy Polosi would sell her private jet maybe our tax dollars for her salary would be better spent. The BIG THREE get hounded by Congress for traveling by private jet but it is OK for the Speaker of the House to do so. Our Government is throwing money around like it is monopoly money and our Economy is getting worse even with Trillions of dollars in Bailouts and Stimulus money. Not only that but our New Administration in the White House is lying to us. They just found out about the bonus, wait no we new about them all along, as Tim Gietner has stated. Just because of a Man Religious beliefs People would not vote for the only Candidate that has the knowledge to restructure and restore our Economy, Mitt Romney. He should be President, or have Tim Gietner's Job. But NO. CHANGE we can Believe in is running the Show.

Why Be a Hater?

Why do we hate? Hate has consumed our nation, our lives and our way of thinking. Hate is found in everyone. We know who is the author of hate and yet we spend hours, days, months, and years justifying our hatred. We justify hating Gay's, Arabs, Mexicans and most of all Canadians. Why? Because they are different, Homosexuality is against Christian beliefs, Arabs caused 9 11. Well not the whole Arab race, But don't we repeat history? We look at every Arab differently since 9 11. That is what they did in World War II with Japanese Concentration Camps. Japanese Americans sent to Camps just because they were of Japanese decent. We hate Mexicans for coming into this country illegally. Canadians say the word "about" weird.  I know I have said things on this blog that are a product of Hate. For that I am sorry. I Know that Homosexuality is Wrong. I also believe in the laws of this Nation. I also have deep feelings of disgust about the 9 11 attacks.  How many of us go to church every week and learn about being Christlike? Christ loves the Sinner not the sin. Christ is able to look past our outward appearances and actions. He forgives us of are wrongful acts. He Died so that our sins, sins of hate could be washed from us. Heavenly Father gave to us Agency, some use it for good and some for evil. This will always be apart of our lives. There must be opposition in all things. The cure for this world is LOVE. The Lord died for us because of Love. We live here on Earth because of Love. We Progress in this life because of Love. We are Blessed in this life because of Love. We are Saved By Love. The world is full of Hate. Let us spread the Good News, No Greater Love hath man then this, That a man layeth down his life for his Friend. I know that God Loves us! I know that Satan is the author of all Hate. I know that it is through the labor of Love that man may receive Exaltation.  Christ is the example, let us find his will for us and carry out his mission. To Bring to Pass the Eternal Life of Men. This can only be done with LOVE. Remember that Charity is the Pure Love of Christ. If we Love God, we must keep his commandments.  One of the lose is to Love thy neighbor as thyself!!

Importing Kryptonite

In a Galaxy far far away, ( Italy). There is the potential that we here on Earth, ( Utah), will be receiving some Kryptonite that will defeat Superman,( Me). The Idea that has been placed before the evil Lex Luthor ( Utah Legislators ), of being paid 100 Million Dollars a year to store this Galaxy's Kryptonite ( Nuclear Waste). Now in trying to overcome the demise of the Economy, this could be seen as some wanted and needed revenue to the State. I admit that to me 100 Million Dollars is a considerable amount of money. In relation to the State budget it is Pennies. Energy Solutions ( Emperor Zod ), has approached Mr. Luthor with this business proposition. The Kryptonite that could be brought in is classified as Grade A waste. This is not the top of the line as we associate with Grade A. It is of the lower grade of radiation. Storing this waste in Clive, Utah would most likley not harm Superman to the point of utter destruction and cause a Doomsday. The principle is that once we start selling our land for waste what else will Mr. Luthor do for money? Our Legislator is very corrupt, and Energy Solutions spends money to keep it that way. In Tooele we do have an army depot that stores and destroys biological weapons for the nation. It is possible that is more dangerous than the Kryptonite will be. How long will we allow Mr. Luthor to fill his pockets will money and have total disregard for the voice of Utahans. This Past election we had the opportunity to "Change" our leadership. We could have voted out Chris Buttars and other seat fillers whose ignorance and stupidity is more than anyone should have to bare. Utahans could not bare to vote Blue, or just against an incumbent. So will Superman be able to overcome the diabolical scheme that is taking place before it's too late? Or will we just sit idly by as Mr. Luthor takes over the world. Utah does not need any more waste deposited here. It is bad enough. Per ca pita we have the most M.S. , Cancer and other diseases that have been caused by the Nuclear Testing of our Federal Government. Remember the old Bumper stickers " Don't Waste Utah" lets not allow any waste to be imported from Foreign countries and stored in our back yard. Magna is a great example of what could happen to the rest of the State if Energy Solutions has control of our Legislation.

Bush Has Left The Building!

Well on Thursday night President Bush gave his farewell speech to the nation. It was a speech that sounded and followed a pattern and a form of some given previously. Bush stuck up for some of his decisions over the past eight years and he eluded to saying sorry for some mistakes as well. Because Bill Clinton was Bush's direct predecessor. The eight years that Clinton spent in the White House has been said to be one of the greatest Administrations this nation has seen. I agree that the economy was great, growth was an every day occurrence. But how much of this is directly due to anything Clinton did? In times of war the economy will falter. During the Clinton years we were not at war. Clinton knew about Osama and left it to W. to handle. Clinton also started to deregulate the banks on wall street that caused a huge Drop in the Stock Market. This led to the Bailout Trend. But Clinton got out just in time. I don't care that Clinton smoked a Cigar that Monica had sat on. I don't even care that Monica shared the same space in the oval office that JFK jr. did a few decades before. The fact that he committed perjury and got away with it. When Democrats or liberals are faced with this issue, they say well at least the economy was good. That is what we as Americans really care about. We care more about our money than anything else. I would bet that if the economy was great, Bush would have an above 50% approval rating. I agree with the statement of Bush when he said that he was willing to make the tough decisions. The Presidency is a Damned if you do and Damned if you don't job. If Bush had an ability to look into the future to see the outcome of some of his decisions I think they would have been different. All of us are Human all of us make mistakes. But the President of any elected official for the matter cannot be human. Any person who wants to be President should not be President. It is just like those who aspire to Bishop, most likely they should not be Bishop. But hey I say, " You want to be Bishop then here you go". We all should live worthy to serve in any calling the Lord may have for us, and we should aspire to be like Christ. As we reflect on the past Decade and look forward to change and adding some flare to the White House, let us remember how the liberals attacked Bush's short comings and lets see how they sweep under rugs any short falls Obama may perform. I want Obama to succeed. My pocket book would like to be a little heavier. The Media got who they wanted let us pray and have faith that He was the right choice, and if not? The Second Coming is that much closer.

Elder Wirthlin

As most may have heard by now Elder Joseph B. Wirthin has gone beyond the veil to converse with the Almighty and many of the noble and great ones. When I received the news of his passing I was saddened to know that his voice will no longer carry to the world in General Conferences to come. The World has lost a great Man. I always enjoyed his insights to the gospel and his sense of humor. It is amazing to to see so many of the Twelve pass on in such a short amount of time. Prior to Elder Haight's passing it had been 11 or 12 years since President Hunter died. It seems now to be an occurring thing to see a new General Authority sustained to the Quorum of the Twelve in Conference. I am wondering what the Lord is preparing the Church for? This Last conference was all about coping with the World around us, where as the message used to be prepare, now it has turn to reflection. We must no longer stand idly by, the time has come and gone to prepare ourselves for trials now we must stand firm in our convictions and strong in our testimonies. The Economy is just the beginning of what is to come. Let us all Repent and turn to the Lord for guidance so that we may be found spotless at the last day!!!!

Happy Thanks Giving

OH the holidays full of food, family, and yes more food. As we come to the end of another Zodiac one must reflect on the past, and ask ourselves, What are we Thankful for? During this time of reflection I wonder how I made it through the year. Work, and School both full time I am amazed that I have not had a heart attack, (especially with my weight problem). I attribute my, well I can't say success, so my surviving another year to my Lovely Wife. Heidi is for me what I will never be, a Miracle. Every day she goes about doing things to make my life easier. Things I don't know about, some she tells me so I know when to say thanks and some she expects to notice on my own. I know I don't give her the gratitude she deserves. So I am taking this moment to Thank her and let her know that I love her. Four years ago in February we were married in the Salt Lake Temple. On that day I knew my Life was complete. I also knew that it would be by her faithfulness that we would be a spiritual family. As these four moments in time have flown by, I thank my Heavenly Father for blessing me with one of his choice daughters. Her devotion to me and to the Lord are unwavering. These four years have not been easy and at times not fun. But I would not want to go through this life or the next without her by my side. I LOVE YOU HEIDI!!!!!
