Elder Wirthlin

As most may have heard by now Elder Joseph B. Wirthin has gone beyond the veil to converse with the Almighty and many of the noble and great ones. When I received the news of his passing I was saddened to know that his voice will no longer carry to the world in General Conferences to come. The World has lost a great Man. I always enjoyed his insights to the gospel and his sense of humor. It is amazing to to see so many of the Twelve pass on in such a short amount of time. Prior to Elder Haight's passing it had been 11 or 12 years since President Hunter died. It seems now to be an occurring thing to see a new General Authority sustained to the Quorum of the Twelve in Conference. I am wondering what the Lord is preparing the Church for? This Last conference was all about coping with the World around us, where as the message used to be prepare, now it has turn to reflection. We must no longer stand idly by, the time has come and gone to prepare ourselves for trials now we must stand firm in our convictions and strong in our testimonies. The Economy is just the beginning of what is to come. Let us all Repent and turn to the Lord for guidance so that we may be found spotless at the last day!!!!

Happy Thanks Giving

OH the holidays full of food, family, and yes more food. As we come to the end of another Zodiac one must reflect on the past, and ask ourselves, What are we Thankful for? During this time of reflection I wonder how I made it through the year. Work, and School both full time I am amazed that I have not had a heart attack, (especially with my weight problem). I attribute my, well I can't say success, so my surviving another year to my Lovely Wife. Heidi is for me what I will never be, a Miracle. Every day she goes about doing things to make my life easier. Things I don't know about, some she tells me so I know when to say thanks and some she expects to notice on my own. I know I don't give her the gratitude she deserves. So I am taking this moment to Thank her and let her know that I love her. Four years ago in February we were married in the Salt Lake Temple. On that day I knew my Life was complete. I also knew that it would be by her faithfulness that we would be a spiritual family. As these four moments in time have flown by, I thank my Heavenly Father for blessing me with one of his choice daughters. Her devotion to me and to the Lord are unwavering. These four years have not been easy and at times not fun. But I would not want to go through this life or the next without her by my side. I LOVE YOU HEIDI!!!!!

PILLOWS WERE NOT MADE FOR BITING!!!!

The hot topic ever since the election is how Homosexuals are upset that Proposition 8 in California was voted down. They( those who supported Gay marriage) are upset with the LDS church for taking a stance on the subject just as other denominations did. I am OK with the protests, i am OK with the fact that they blame the Church for the fall of Proposition 8. What I am not OK with is that they burn our literature, that they only protest Mormons and not the other denominations for their votes against the proposition. During the Protests you see rainbows and posters calling Mormons Morons and, Keep hate within the church etc. etc. Now if any one was full of hate and anger it is those protesters. The act of burning a sacred book on the steps of holy ground is inexcusable. Then the have the odasity to defame our temples. What the H.E. Double hockey stick. You don't see me with a sign saying" God Made Adam And Eve not Adam and Steve". Which I am willing to make and stand with my Heterosexual friends on the sidelines of a Gay Pride Parade. Have you ever heard of a Heterosexual Pride Parade? I haven't. It is ridiculous that tolerance has become acceptance and support. I am Tolerant of a person's right to choose. I don't have to however condone nor support actions that I find to morally impermissible. When did it become a social foe pa to stick up for your morals when they are the morals of the majority. A FAG comes out of the closet and the world says, " Hooray, do you want your own Holiday or is the parade good enough?" Where is my stinkin parade? Where is my rainbow flag the says,"Hey I am a Heterosexual, I like to engage in sexual acts with the opposite sex?" Oh wait that is not fair, Heterosexuality is not discriminated against. I beg to differ. If I were to say, " I am a Hetero." I would be labeled as intolerant, if I were to say my Adam and Eve saying I am a bigot. Oh but it is perfectly OK for Fags to burn our books and call us names and no one says that is immoral. It is total reverse racism and it is OK because, WHY? PILLOW'S WERE NOT MADE FOR BITING!!!!

Why the Utes " Could Go All The Way!!"
So tonight the Utes hosted TCU. In one of the toughest games played by both teams our very own Crimson warriors come out with the demanding victory over the Horny Toads from that little state of Texas. What a dramatic and gut wrenching 4 quarters. So many highs and so many lows. I found myself crying at times, and two seconds later gasping for Joy. What has Utah done that BYU has not. BEAT TCU. Now I admit TCU was not in there own realm. But Utah has the ability to do what BYU can't, Win in the last seconds of a close and tiring game. The Utes ability to close a game and the defense to stop the opposing offense again and again and again is why the Utes clearly are the best in the Mountain West conference. Now if only my MICHIGAN Wolverines could be as good as they were last season I would be in a Celestial state of mind. Now I know some may be wondering why i have turned from politics to sports. Need one really ask why? Utes are 10-0 and BYU, who cares. GO UTES. My favorite team is UTAH and every other team that can beat BYU, Screw the Y.

Socialism is of the DEVIL

Well the question that has been plaguing my mind for sometime is, How is a socialist being considered to be the President of a capitalistic country? Barrack (the socialist) Obama is more than likely going to be elected to the most powerful job in the free world. I don't understand how someone could believe in the constitution and vote for Obama. Obama wants socialized medicine. Do voters not understand that any business in the United States only makes in by Capitalism. The Capitalistic nature and foundation of this great country is the foundation of the "American Dream". I work somewhat in the Heath Care industry, if we look at which country has the best heath care of, US, Canada, and England. Now Canada and England both have socialized medical care. Who has the best and latest technology in Cancer research? US. Who treats patients from the other two countries because they have the best Physicians? US. The list goes on. We know for a fact that the Cunuks and the Brits all come here to receive extraordinary care. Why? it is because of capitalism. Capitalism funds the ability to buy and invent new technology and medications. By making a Doctor be paid by a Mechanics formula, which if you know a mechanic on certain consistent jobs like a brake job. so say a brake job is quoted at one hour of labor. A the technician will only be paid for one hour even if the job takes 30 min or two hours. This is what will happen under Obama's solution for heath care. The government will say a heart transplant will cost 11000 dollars, Even if the cost to the hospital is more than that. Who might you ask makes up the difference. Well that comes our of the Doctor's labor rate. It is joke and try to bring a failing policy from Canada and Europe and think that it will work here, is not only ignorant but just plain insane. Come on people, Yes Obama is very slick, and is very eloquent, but let us not forget the adversary is very cunning almost likable. Lets us stand up for what makes America the greatest Nation on the Earth, and not VOTE FOR OBAMA

To Campaign or Not To Campaign

This is the question!! Well 41 days till the nation will provide their voices in the form of casting a Ballot. The economy in shambles. What is a Presidential Nominee to do? Well John McCain has decided to suspend his campaign to go back to work. Obama wants to stay on the campaign trail. Well now it is up to us to decide who made the better decision. I mean what is there to decide? Huh, do I do the job that I am being payed for by tax payers or do I campaign so I can collect more money from those same tax payers? What a tough choice. Stocks fall every day, gas and food continue to rise and these two have to decide how to take more of our money. What a Joke!!! I know one must campaign to insure a win on that very day in November, but why is it so hard to do your job. Oh wait what a dumb question Washington is broken and Mr. Magoo and The Anointed One will save us from this horrible administration. They are going to do this on our dime. Whether that dime is taken in the form of salary, donation, or a raise in taxes to bail out criminals. Well it is not for me to say which of these two saints has done the correct political move, that is for you to have your own opinion. But I will say this, if the government thinks that the American people will be willing to bail out those idiots in Washington with our own hard earned money that is so difficult to come by, boy they have another thing coming!!!!

Not CHANGE but a RESTORATION

In following the Election coverage and listening to Osama Obama and Old Man Mcain, both claim to be the candidates for change. Washington is broken we hear, our economy is the mouth of the porcelain god and every day I wander how I am going to continue on in the pursuit of happiness. What does Change mean? Neither candidate will give a simple answer to this question. Well I am not to sure that we need a change. We need a Restoration. We need a candidate that will restore the value of hearkening to the voice of the nation, which are the voters of this nation. Restoration of the principles and values this Blessed nation was founded on. Ronald Reagan is conservatism, and is the hero of the Republican Party. We Need to restore his mind set and his principles in order to overcome the liberal and radical Washington. Let us all remember that Liberalism is a Mental Disorder, as stated by the great American Micheal Savage. Change is not always for the better. This has been made apparent as the nation digresses. In a world of Flip Floppers and a celebrities we are told except the world and be of the world. Let us stand up for truth, liberty, justice, and moral values. The Status Quo of Washington is no longer acceptable we must make our voices herd. That is why to all who will read this blog I am Running for President of the United States of America. Yes on election day I will Vote for the most intelligent choice. That of course is myself. My goal is to have the 87% of Republican voters that voted for Mitt Romney to join me in Restoring the core values of the Constitution to Government. Josch's Rant

So i was thinking last night that it would be nice to have a spot devoted to allowing me to rant. What ever the subject may be. As for right now the normal thing to do on one of these blogs, is to post pics of family and other things of that nature as for me and this blog it shall not be so. My wife has that already and is quite good at it. So I have decided to concentrate on of course politics, current events and other stupid facts that I am so full of. I figure if i can make someone believe that I was Valedictorian of my High School, because of my whit and intellect, then I should have something profound to say to the world. Well as we all know I barely graduated let alone with that precious title. Well with my job as a delivery driver you could say I have a lot of free time on my hands, at least between deliveries and since sometimes those intervals can be up to two ours depending on where I go that day. So to occupy my time I listen to a lot of radio, CD's, and talk radio. One of my favorite shows is the Nightside project on KSL 1160 and on the FM dial 102.7. I laugh every time I here Ethan Millerd say " Well here's the thing". If you listen to the program more that 5 mins that phrase is said over and over again. Well a few weeks ago as you may have heard about the whole polygamy deal in Texas. Well my biggest issue with the whole conversation was when calls would come in and the association was made the the LDS faith. I know the history of my religion to know why, when and how polygamy started. What is funny though is the fact that when the Catholic priests were caught with the altar boys nobody associated the Priests with any of the protestant religions that were organized as of following of Martin Luther. The same attitude should stand when break off sects of the LDS church are in the news for illegal unethical practices. I wanted to call up and state the obvious to them but I was on hold for 45 min, and could not wait any longer. Nightside is however a great talk show because Ethan's counter part Alex is pretty candid when he disagrees with Ethan and it is hilarious. So the moral of the story is listen to Nightside.
